10 Unique places to organize in your life to feel clarity and at peace
One of my favourite things about fall is that it always feels like “change”. Fall feels like a new beginning and with that, I love to start fresh!
Life has a tendency to get messy sometimes which in return makes our mind feel overwhelmed and stressed.
Jump in front of these feelings by cleaning and organizing your environment.
Enter the rest of the year feeling organized, refreshed and rejuvenated.
We often say things like “Spend money on the things you spend most of your time in” which usually refers to your bed and your shoes. Well, I say throw your car into that category!
Take this as your sign to grab that trash bag, your favourite cleaning supplies and scrub a dub dub!
Time to get organized in one of the best places to start! Go through, figure out which close you haven’t worn in FOREVER and slide those in the donation pile. Out with the old, make space for the new!
Dump it out and throw it out! So many tissues and other junk find their way into your beautiful purse. Find them a new home – the trash!
Bills and Finances
This is a great chance for you to get your finances in order! Sit down and get it all put together. How much money do you have coming in? What bills are taking it out? Budget and Plan!
Social Media Following
One of the best decisions I’ve made was to unfollow lots of people who were not feeding my soul. Wipe em out!
Contacts on your phone
Same goes for your contacts. Delete or update your contacts info! No use for old numbers.
Give your phone and your mental space some love. Get rid of those apps that are just taking up data.
I don’t like deleting pictures so if you’re anything like me, you can always go through and at least organize.
Albums are a thing for a reason, and trust me – future you who is going to be looking for that random picture from that one time that you took a picture of your baby niece shoving a cheeto up your nose – is going to thank you for organizing that “Baby Niece” album.
Your daily agenda/calendar
Take a night to plan out your important upcoming events.
Time to mind dump! Take your notebook/journal and jot down what you are working so hard to accomplish and WHY.
I love doing this at the beginning of every month because it sets you up for success. Map it out and write down your action plan.
Organizing your space is more than just keeping your surroundings clean. It’s about creating an environment that you and your mind can thrive in.
Clearing and organizing these unique places will give you so much clarity and relieve stress off your back that you might not have even known you were carrying.
